Lili Bonnet, business coach for entrepreneurs
Specializing in design, fashion, and luxury, I am a business coach for creative entrepreneurs. My purpose is to support executives and independent creatives who aspire to turn their art into a thriving business, helping them grow while staying true to their core values. Fully bilingual, I focus on sharing knowledge and mentorship as key elements of my management style.
Management as a common thread
Ever since I started my career in 1999, I have been dedicated to developing the hard skills & soft skills of my team members and optimizing both growth and profitability.
Service as the backbone of my practice
With a strong background in customer service across creative sectors (fashion, design, luxury goods industry), my eclectic journey began in 1999. I held positions in Sales & Management at Levi’s (in London & Paris) and later worked as Regional Director (Rhône-Alpes) for the SMCP group (Sandro, Maje, Claudie Pierlot). I also worked as a Project Leader with Parisian agencies like Société d’Alexandra Senes, and studio be-pôles.
In August 2012, I joined India Mahdavi’s Studio as an Office Manager. This pivotal role required overseeing the company’s image, ensuring smooth operations, and upholding the artistic vision while satisfying all stakeholders: the director, team, and clients. In this role, I promoted the brand, advocated for the creative director’s interests, managed administrative tasks, and handled communications.
The launch of LBM
In March 2021, after a year of planning, I decided to go independent and founded LBM. My aim was to better balance my personal and professional life, finding that the flexibility and adaptability of entrepreneurship allowed me to serve my clients more effectively.
Thanks to this preparation period, things quickly fell into place. With this experience, I can now even more efficiently support new project launches and advise on the best timing for a launch—or if it’s better to wait a little longer.
As someone who is highly sensitive and “hyper-aware,” I understand the challenges faced by similar personalities. I’ve developed specific tools and methods to meet my clients’ unique needs in my coaching sessions.
Working with creative entrepreneurs
Since then, I have been working broadly with creatives. I have always been immersed in art, beauty, and quality. My “ikigai” – my life’s purpose – is rooted in the appreciation of beauty as my core strength. Yet, most of the time, creators aren’t necessarily skilled at selling what they’ve made. This is where I come in: I help them structure, set a framework, and then market that framework. I’m always motivated to accompany them in defining their values, vision of success, and mission.
Values at the heart of my work
Ethics
Ethics are very important to me. They encompass:
• professionalism;
• confidentiality;
• best practices;
• ethical standards;
• commitment.
Being ethical also means knowing when I’m not the right fit for someone – and saying so. The relationship between my clients and I must flow naturally on both sides. Integrity, to me, is also part of ethics. It defines who I am as a coach, which is why I continue to train myself regularly and seek mentorship for my own growth.
Synergy
I work in synergy with emerging or established talents who wish to focus on their creativity. I believe everything depends on how we merge our efforts, whether individually or as a group. Synergy creates momentum – it’s what allows us to take the next steps and move forward, successfully. This energy blend includes everyone’s individual contribution and business, creating a personified essence in every project I contribute to.
Sustainability
In my coaching process, the focus is on deep shift, not superficial results. Quick performance gains can be deceiving; results might be impressive and fast, but without sustained effort, the impact fades, and the purpose is lost. For me, embedding change is as important as achieving successful results. Some adjustments need to be made deeply to ensure stability and continuity.
Moreover, I aim to have long-term relationships with my coaching clients. This is why I provide follow-up support after my coaching sessions and workshops, as it fosters a stronger, more effective, and less frustrating relationship.
To sum up, management remains the common thread of my career. That’s why I named my company LBM – Lili Bonnet Management. My approach involves sharing experiences and best practices, but above all, it’s about co-creation. Establishing a framework where everyone is heard, engaged, and free to express themselves — a safe space — to reach solutions together.
• Uncover potential, strengths, and areas for improvement, and accompany each client in recognizing them.
• Develop strategic plans and action plans together to reach defined objectives.
• Provide tools, resources, and solutions to unblock challenges, enabling clients to find the most suitable answers.• Anchor actions in the “how” rather than just the “why.”
To grow, and help others grow.
